Bicycle Glass Co. was founded by David Royce and Michael Boyd in 2016. Both Michael and David, before starting Bicycle Glass Co., were independent glass artists. After each starting families of their own they were looking for something that didn't require up to twenty weeks of travel each year. Over a cup of coffee the rough outline for Bicycle Glass Co. came together. Bicycle Glass Co. would become a lighting company that was focused on four simple key concecpts. Our designs would be both designed and created by hand in the USA, they would be made sustainably, the lights would be of high quality, and each piece would represent value in the classic sense of the word; where after a purchase a customer would feel that they paid a fair and reasonable price for a high quality, hand made product.
