CERAMICX LTD.

Ceramicx was founded in 1992 by Frank and Grinne Wilson. The company designs and manufactures ceramic infrared heating elementsand complete turnkey infrared heating systems for industrial and commercial applications. Ceramicx's products and systems are used in a wide range of applications such as packaging, thermoforming, non contact drying, spot heating, warming food, infrared saunas and numerous other industrial processes. Since its initial inception the company has gone from strength to strength establishing a policy of backward Integration (opposite to outsourcing) with respect to machinery and equipment and exporting 98% of the goods produced to 65+ countries with primary markets being Germany, UK, USA, Russia, Turkey, India, and China. Blue chip clients include Corning Glass, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, HP, GM and GE. In its initial years Ceramicx regularly achieved growth of over 30%, this slowed during the Celtic tiger era when the cost of labour and the cost of doing business in Ireland forced Ceramicx to consolidate and focus on cutting costs to remain internationally competitive. Ceramicx bided its time maintaining turnover levels until the collapse of the Celtic tiger and Ireland's focus was firmly turned to manufacturing exports once again. Since 2009, Ceramicx has found itself on a trajectory of growth with growth levels of 16%, 30% and 15% from 2010 to the current year of 2013. The company has invested heavily in R&D, automation and new equipment as well as establishing a new magazine 'HeatWorks' and web-strategy to inform our customers of the ongoing developments and new products at our company.
