Established in 1996, Econopack Industries (Pvt) Ltd. was founded by the Late Mr. Chandra Fernando, a well-respected entrepreneur and industrialist. The Company is a privately owned Limited Liability Company, approved by the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka. The Company specialises in the manufacturing and supplying of customer defined corrugated paperboards and cartons for a variety of industries and it is the single largest corrugated carton supplier for Sri Lanka's Apparel industry. In addition to Apparels, we also supply our products for export sectors such as Tea, bicycles, sails and kites, porcelain, coir products and FMCG products. From humble beginnings, the Company has grown rapidly over the last 2 decades, and is today a formidable force in Sri Lanka's corrugated industry. Econopack's Factory and Administrative complex was earlier located at Boralesgamuwa on the outskirts of Colombo, Sri Lanka's commercial capital. The manufacturing plant was recently relocated to a modern 4-acre facility at Bandaragama a half an hour drive away from Colombo, to cater to the increasing customer demands and the resulting rapid expansion. EconopackIndustries is the first corrugated carton manufacturing company in Sri Lanka to be awarded the ISO Certification for our commitment for quality and excellence. The factory and administrative office are fully 5S compliant as well, affirming our efforts in delivering only the best quality products to our much valued customers.
