Gulf Steel was established in 1992 for manufacture of steel products. The production facilities located at Musaffah, Abu Dhabi manufactures Reinforcement Steel Bars (Rebars)/Cold-Ribbed Bars in Coils and Cut-to-Length sizes and Welded Mesh. The production facility comprises of two rolling mills with TMT process, automatic cooling bed and material handling equipment for the production of Rebars. The rolling mill is also capable of producing plain bars and square bars. In addition there are two cold ribbed lines, two advanced straightening and cutting lines and an automatic weld mesh plant. A part of the reputed Al Nasser Industrial Enterprises L.L.C Group, Gulf Steel is ranked as one of the most reputed producers of steel products in the U.A.E, manufacturing quality steel over 20 years. Led by a strong management team, the company has focused on technological excellence geared towards the production of high quality steel products. Gulf Steel is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company. The manufacturing facilities have been certified by TUV Nord. The product range - 8mm to 32mm as per BS 4449:1997 Grade 460B, has been certified by Dubai Central Laboratory and product range - 8mm to 32mm under BS standard (1997/2005), has been certified by CARES, U.K. Gulf Steel has grown swiftly over the decade. In line with its regional aspirations, it has expanded its customer base beyond the boundaries of the UAE and now sells in markets across the GCC region. To meet the increasing demands of the market, the company is diversifying the scope of operations by expanding the current product range. Currently the Company is in the process of setting up a state of the art multi-product rolling mill in Abu Dhabi, with a capacity of 100,000 TPA, to be commissioned in 2014. The new mill will be capable of producing multiple products - Rebars/Angles/Channels/Plain Bars/Square Bars.
