1998 : - In 1998 HMTL was made a limited company and also the activity of Shree Reliable Tubes Pvt. Ltd. (S.S.division) were merged into HMTL to further consolidate its position in India and also to be more competent. 1999 : - HMTL started spreading its feathers and started exporting their products to the international market. 2003-2007 : - Exports have increased 15 fold in the span of 5 years. in 2007 HMTL shifted its Carbon & Alloy Steel manufacturing facility to new location with enhance capacity and converted the existing facility for manufacturing of Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes. 2007 : - Expansion of Carbon Steel division of the company was done with tripling its capacity and shifting to new location 138, Bileshwarpura in Gujarat State of India for manufacturing Seamless Carbon & Alloy Steel Tubes & Pipes. With this expansion, now we have got 9 Draw Benches plus other machineries to manufacture 24,000 MTs per annum of Seamless Carbon & Alloy Steel Tubes & Pipes. 2011 : - HMTL's major expansion to set up its new plant (Unit III) to manufacture Hot Finish Seamless Carbon Steel and Alloy Steel Pipes & Tubes was completed at 193-211 Mandali in Gujarat State of India. The new plant has 75,000 MT Annual Capacity. It is helping the company to competitively cater to the growing demands of power sector (boiler and HRSG manufacturer), line pipes etc. The commercial production has begun in June 2011. 2014 : - HMTL's started expansion at Unit III to manufacture OCTG Tubes and was completed in year 2015. Commercial production will start in a few months. Exports constitute 30% of the total business today and its growing. This shows the quality, commitment and consistency wide.
