Naik Foundation
We are a registered Charitable Trust in India under the Mumbai Public Trust Act 1950, in the Foundation we work at different levels - enabling, empowering and educating communities, and paving the way for them to be integrated into mainstream society. The activities of the Foundation are in the areas of nutrition, skill development and community support. The Foundation also focuses on enhancing the spiritual, mental and physical development of individuals through a wide range of activities. Currently our work is spread across western India in Maharashtra and Gujarat. In Maharashtra, the Foundation has outreach activities in Bhiwandi, Shahapur, Panvel, Palghar, Navi Dapcheri, Dahanu, Karjat, Thane, Usgaon, Uttan, Ganeshpuri and Jawahar. In Gujarat, the Foundation works in Endhal and Bilimora. At Naik Foundation, we are holistic in our approach. We respond to the needs of the community. Whether it is the free distribution of school uniforms or introducing Anapana (a form of meditation designed at kids) or enabling women to become self-reliant by owning a sewing machine. We work towards making things better.
