NOPE was created with the intent to partner with companies & institutions who support organics recycling (composting) as part of a comprehensive sustainability plan. Our Mission is to make central & eastern Virginia more sustainable by providing the option for full service composting (aka organic recycling). One of the key components to our mission is educating the public & our community as to the multitude of environmental benefits which compost & composting can provide. Finally we seek to 'close the loop' of organic recycling by redistributing compost for education & use through our Compost Credit Program.
