Specialised Textiles Association (previously known as Australian Canvas & Synthetics Products Association, ACASPA) has been representing the industrial fabrics/specialty fabric/ textile industry since the 1940's . Our industry includes manufacturers, importers, suppliers of fabrics and equipment, manufacturers of finished product and services that support this industry. The variety of product supplied by our members is endless and includes: outdoor covers, awnings, blinds, shade sails and structures, canopies, dam liners, grain covers, marine covers, tarpaulins, banners, camping annexes, tank liners, yacht sails etc. Our members provide product and services worldwide. They are recognised as innovative leaders in the industry and have been honored with Awards internationally. The annual Expo and Awards for Excellence are a major focus for the industry. Specialised Textiles Association produce Connections magazine that keeps the industry up to date with business and technical knowledge. As an industry association, Specialised Textiles Association provides industry support, market trends, training, accreditation and licensing, and lobbying of State and Federal Governments. Specialised Textiles Association is a not for profit Association that is managed by volunteer Council of Management and employs an Association Manger and support staff with a national office based in Melbourne. Specialised Textiles Association has affiliations with many organisations, locally and internationally, including IFAI, OFPANZ, TTNA, WCA, LSAA, TFIA.
